Fun weekend: Conciert Piyu - Osto Kwatro (FEU @ 84)

Here's what happened with my weekend off from work :D

Honestly, before that big day, I wasn't really planning to go or I'll say, I'm thinking if I'll be watching the concert or not. but then friday morning, I've made up my mind that I'll be going to instead, so I texted my some of my college friends, especially those who are attending Law school and have classes during that day. I received a response from Christian (one of my college barkada who's also in Law school but with San Beda. Luckily he didn't have class that day and he was also thinking of going, so we decided to go to FEU together, but before going straight to school, he first asked me to come with him in Marikina, to pick up his graduation pictures! FINALLY, after almost a year! hahaha, and after we got his grad pics, we had lunch at Kenny Rogers at Sta Lucia Mall which is just a footbridge away from the photo studio, I also got hooked up with his new toy! his Apple Ipad 3G! It was so niiiice that I got to play Angry Birds and go on facebook. Haha. We did window shop a little, bought a chain accessory for my cellphone before we head to FEU riding a cab, because by that time, we were so lazy to ride the jeep and LRT going back! lol. and sheezzz, our bill's like Php300! lol but it's worth it because we get to talk about a lot of things during that cab ride! :p

We arrived at FEU around 4:00 in the afternoon, went to the Law library to meet some of our college friends! chat a little, stayed at the University's food court and had meryenda, then goes to freedom park to wait for the concert to start, around 6pm, there were already a lot of students as at the quadrangle since the concert as usual, was held at the FEU grand stand, the stage was great! we noticed they already put a cover so if ever it'll rain, the show will not be postponed like what happened last year. LOL. they also put a runway on stage so performers can walk through it closer to the crowd which is really nice! very Party Pilipinas or ASAP like! :)

Concerts kicks off around 7pm, i think? with hosts from FEU's very own. then there's Valerie Concepcion who's really gorgeous and sexy! she did a lil bit of co-host and singing with a student of her personal choice from the crowd, and there goes one of the main artists, Someday Dream (Rez Toledo, Singer) who I must say performs like a foreign artist! he's also very good looking. :) the night went awesome with FEU home grown talents who also showcased their own performances, lastly, the very main artist, PUPIL! the crowd goes wild as they performed! wohoooo! we didn't really finish the whole show, I slept over at my bestfriend's dorm because it was kinda late that time and I got the chance to bond with my Trio loves again! :)

all in all, the concert was awesome!!! as always, FEUCSO (far eastern university central organization) has done a good job! *round of applause*

Good food you might wanna try!

I've been really wanting to blog about this way back a couple of months now, but because of my rotating shift, I've just been recently updating my blog again.

Anyways, it's actually about a fast food that I've discovered late last year when I started working in Makati, It was when the time I'm looking for a good place to eat after shift, good food with affordable price, and that time I don't wanna eat at those common fast food we see almost everyday! coz if that so, I could've just eat at the same fast food few block away from our house right? lol the name was "CHUBBY CHECKER" well it's not actually in Makati, It's located in Pasay taft Buendia, few steps away from the LRT station and since I usually take the train going home, I took time to try what's good on their menu.

by then I found out their specialty was the Chicken Bourbon, originated in the U.S. (accdg to google haha) and by having this meal with two pieces of the chicken with rice, it will just cost you Php89 and I must say it was worth it! the sauce was I think the real magic why it turned out to be so delicious! so whenever I eat there, this has always been my choice! LOL

I happen to ate there again with one my officemates and I've finally tried something else, and It was their Porkchop with rice which was also good, this will cost you php79 and my office mate tried their spaghetti (Php59) and hotdog sandwhich (Php25) and all in all she gave it 7 stars out of 10!! :)

When I'm actually googling about the fast food, I found out that It wasn't that properly yet, I think they just have two branches, in Buendia and in Novaliches, I believe. oh and a little trivia that I saw online, Chubby Checker is actually a name of a foreign singer way back, I 80's, I think! So I was thinking maybe the owner likes the singer so he named it after his fast food business, that's just a wild guess! hahaha.

So looking for a good place to eat, I suggest you try chubby checker and please don't forget to try their specialty! lemme' know what you think :)

ANOTHER THING...

Recently, I've also tried out Shawarma rice and it's just along Buendia near the LRT station as well! I and my office mates got addicted to it actually, and we were eating this after shift for three straight days hahaha It was all good for only Php45. You might wanna try it as well!! :D

My friday - off.

My first day off from work. and since it's friday, it was also my pay-day, so the original plan was to go clubbing with some friends, drink some beer, dance and chill a lil bit since I really miss clubbing! it's been a while since I've done that because I never had a weekend off for quite a long time now! so I thought friday would really be perfect! well of course.

But due to some instances, two of my friends texted me they couldn't make it, so instead of forcing them to try to make it, I end up cancelling it because I was also hit by laziness for some reason. lol. So I texted my bestfriend, Darleen, that instead of going out friday night, I'd rather visit her in her dorm since it's been months since I last saw her because I was busy from work and her being busy with Law school.

I stayed the whole day with her, we ate pizza and went online together at a computer shop nearby, plus my favorite part - our endless heart to heart talk whenever we see each other :)

oh, and speaking of pizza! I have a new discovery, well, her discovery. actually, haha. she introduced me to Dexter's Pizza, though the pizza parlor was familiar, I didn't know they had one really good pizza flavor. it's the Shawarma Pizza. Darleen's so right when she told me It was really tasteful! because it really was! We had two boxes for just within that day! one large and one medium! and now im still craving for it. Lol.

You must try it!! Nearest branches are in Manila are at Espana, Mla. the one we ate at. and at Vito Cruz Ext. other branches are way too far! lol

Got my hair done! 01/16

Since it was my first leave from work ever which happened last Monday, I've also decided to have my hair cut and also hair color that day! well, i didn't really plan to have my hair cut short, but to be really honest, having long hair is really a hassle for me, for a fact that I'm so lazy when it comes to combing my hair lol. the hair color was actually my personal choice. it turned out exactly what I want it to be. Autumn Chesnut was the color!

I had my hair done in Reyes haircutters, just a few blocks away from home. my hair cut was P100 and for the hair color, it was P600. so it's a total of P700 for my complete hair transformation, Not bad.

I was happy bout the result so I gave a pretty good tip for my stylist that day! he did everything, from the hair cut, to the shampoo (twice) and the hair color! and I'm glad my officemates and friends liked it as well. :)

While waiting for the color to stick to my hair. waited for like 15mins :)

Nov. 12 - 13, 2011

End of shift at 10 in the morning and left at approximately 11am. We didn't expected that it will be a long ride from Manila. Stopped over at Subic Pure Gold to buy groceries and ate a little because we haven't eaten our lunch yet, next stop over was Candelaria Public Market to buy canned goods and a case of beer. Arrived at the resort around 6 in the evening. That was really tiring! after everyone had already changed their clothes and rest a while. We finally set up bonfire beside the beach. Danced, sang along with the strum of guitar played by kuya raffy, laughed so hard, got drunk and had night swimming at the beach. That night's awesome.

The next day, finally, it's potipot day! unfortunately, I didn't got the chance to go because I was not feeling well during that time. They rode a boat to the Island. And it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Had our last lunch at resort, left around 2:00pm. stop over at Subic pure gold again. arrived at Manila, exactly 9pm.

TIRING YET SUPERB EXPERIENCE!! :D FUN FUN FUN!

What's on my mind, Literally.

It's around 3:40 in the morning and while most people are sleeping and some I assume are already in dreamland. I am here, sitting on this office chair infront of the computer, taking calls! CALLS doesn't really make me happy!! coz if it's not an inquirny, it's a transfer call! and I already have 15 calls with NO GA!! (no sell) DEMMET!

I am not feeling good today, really. I dont why. maybe I just lack some sleep! actually, I do, and If lack sleep, I cannot stay this late and communicate with different american people!!! it's killing meee. I wanna go home like NOW and get 8 hour sleep if its possible!! ...HAHAHA :p

Miss Universe 2011

Sept 12, 2011 was to be considered as a big day for the Philippines and as well as for the rest of the 88 countries across the world as the coronation night of the Miss Universe 2011 was finally held at Sao Paolo, Brazil.

All candidates were stunning as they walk with pride representing the country where they belong to. and as for the Philippines, we're proud to have SHAMCEY SUPSUP to represent the name of our country on that prestigious event.

During that night, Shamcey was close so close to perfection! She walks confidently during the swimsuit and evening gown portion, she's undeniably gorgeous especially the smile the she wore all throughout the competition and mostly, Shamcey is one intelligent woman as she proved that through the Question and Answer portion, and a plus factor, she's the only candidate on the top 5 who doesn't need an interpreter and what makes it more impressive, she answers the question straight to the point, doesn't need to think first, no fillers! it just comes out naturally, from her heart :)

QUESTION: Would you change your religious belief to marry the one you love?

SHAMCEY's answer: If I had to change my religious belief, I would not marry the person that I love, because the first person that I love is GOD who created me and I have my faith and my principles and this is what makes me who I am, and if that person loves me, he should love my God too." :)

I was really expecting that she can take home the crown because she truly deserves it. but on the other hand, Ms. Angola who took home the crown and title for the Miss Universe 2011 was also deserving and that also gave a proof that it doesn't matter if you're black, fair or white, everyone is beautiful in his/her own way! black is beautiful! :D

For that, I congratulate Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner up, SHAMCEY SUPSUP!!! YOU MAKE THE WHOLE PHILIPPINES PROUD!!! :D

Haluuu! Update.

Hello blog! gee. my haven't updated my blog for already a month now, and I really missed this! but I'm back, hopefully I can manage this even once a week. gaaad, am I really that busy? lol.

o well, yea, kinda. I've been a bit busy with work lately and that was the reason that I seldom go online these past few weeks, today's my last day-off for the week, then will be off to work again at 4am! wew. that's really exhausting. I never thought being in the call center industry will be this tiring for the fact that I have a graveyard shift then my sleeping time would be in the afternoon, and you know, sleeping time in the afternoon is way different from the night time coz it's more comfortable, in an easy explanation - I'm just not a vampire. LOL.

but so far, everything's been okay, I mean, I've already adjust with my rotating work schedule since I've been working for a month now, at first it was really hard for me to do this but I got used to all these. thank God! :)) and... during the first few weeks of my employment, I did had thoughts of quitting coz I was placed in a sales rep position on a U.S. account wherein hard selling is not my forte! so it was really difficult for me to adjust in the first place... but thank you Lord again that I am still here, doing the same thing and luckily I've been doing really good in sales... plus, of course, PAY SLIPS!! you know that feeling when you receive your pay and you know it's because of your hard work, and that feeling when you're already the one who's paying for the house bills and you know you are a big help to the family. that's just priceless! I've been dreaming of it during the my entire college days and look where am I now. It feels great and fulfilling! and I'm just hoping I'll continue to do good at work as long as I can... :)

there are actually a lot of things I wanna blog in.. but I'll just reserve it on the next!!
