I love Romantic Films.

I am just one of the thousand people who loves romantic movies and you can't deny the fact that these movies are usually based on true events, something that happens to a couple in reality. film writers sometimes make a little twist to it, but anyhow, they still captures our hearts in one way or another.

Aside from the fact the fact romantic films can make us shudder with delight, one thing that I really like about them is they show all kinds of love stories, not just love stories that always ends up happy but also those that struggles, suffers and fight for that certain love but still fails at the end, it's because that happens in real life, we don't usually get what we want or who we want. Love stories doesn't always ends with "happily ever after".

I also believe, personally, that romantic films teaches you love and life lessons, it teaches you how to love faithfully, wait for the right person to come, heal a broken heart, move on and forget the past, fight for that person you love, develop the relationship you have with your special someone and search for that one true love. :) and for us movie watchers, we learn from every scene they make!:)

Some of my favorite romantic films includes The Notebook, If only, PS I love you, Dear John and The Vow which was just recently shown on theaters.

The Vow (My personal movie review)

When I first saw the trailer of the movie two weeks ago, I became extremely excited, because aside from Channing Tatum was the leading man of the film whom I totally like ever since Step Up and Dear John, I am also such a sucker for romantic movies! So I was really hoping to see the movie when it comes out on February.

Today is its first day of showing and I have finally watched it! well, supposed to be I'll be watching it on Sunday with my best friends, but out of excitement, I did watch it alone today! (that's not a problem, I can watch it twice, or even thrice! Hahaha)

I must say the movie was really good, the story was actually inspired by true events, based on the story of Kim and Krickett Carpenter who were real life couple who struggled with their marriage. It all started when Paige (Rachel McAdams who plays Kim) and Leo (as Channing Tatum on the film) went through a car accident, It became more tragic when Kim woke up one day from being comatose and could not remember anything about the life she has with his husband, and from there, the story revolves on how Leo works hard to bring back the memory of his wife, and personally, I think it was like ten times harder because the last thing that Paige could remember was the life she had before she married her husband. :|

On the Characters. For me, Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams had a great chemistry on screen! They both have done a good job in delivering their roles! not to mention they are both part of two romantic films that has also captivated our hearts, Channing from Dear John and Rachel McAdams from The Notebook, I cried with a scene wherein they're trying to put it all together but they were about to give up. I also trembled with every sweet gestures they make! like Channing tickling Rachel at one scene and they end up making out but with love and passion, of course. <3

On the Movie itself. I personally think that It was romantically done, meaning, since it is a romantic film that's why it should be above average romantic and the movie has that quality, It has reached the level of my expectation although to be perfectly honest, it was a little bit hanging at the end because it didn't really end up the way I or you want it to be, for the reason that it was realistic! inspired by real love story... :)

Overall, it is a good movie to watch! it would be perfect for a Valentine's treat!! :) Grab your girlfriend/boyfriend, husband/wife or the whole family!! ENJOY!

and after you watch it, lemme' know what you think! <3 Advance Happy Heart's Day! :*

North Riverside Resort

Why do you need to go to a far away place to go for a swim and have a good time when you can just do it near the metro?

Last two day-off from work, me and two of my close friends at work decided to go swimming but we didn't want to really go out of town because of the budget that we might have to shell out.. so we took time to google place near manila and found out that there's a lot of fine cheap resorts in Bulacan.. Jed's Island Place, Malamig Park Resort, Sittio Lucia, Grotto Vista, Long Meadows are just few of the resorts that we researched about...

Finally, we've end up at North Riverside Resort and Leisure Park located in Meycauayan, Bulacan, well it was originally recommended by a High school friend of mine.. It was just approximately 45 minutes of jeepney ride from monumento, and got off at meycauayan toll wherein there is a mini market where we bought food to cook at the resort.. we rode a tricyle to the place, it was a 10min ride.. and finally arrived at north riverside..

The place looks clean and fun, there are actually 4 types of swimming pool, one for kids two other for adults and 1 lagoon that serves as like a river at the sides of every pool! cottages starts at 300 pesos depending of how big the group is. from small cottages to family sizes, and entrace fee is 150 for adults and 120 for kids :)

It was absolutely worth it, plus, it's totally cheap! :)
